Many people liked my Tiger costume, and got many questions about the painting too.
I will try to show you the basic process in this video. It's only for the face, but painting the body is the same, except that you will need a friend to help you painting areas you can't reach. :)
Note: well, I accidentally bit my lip the other day before (don't laugh D: ), and the wound was still visible when I was making this video... meh... try to ignore this... D:

Very nice, stupid question though, how did you do the full body painting, did you use a mirror or have help?  and what kinds of paint did you use for that?

Thank you ~
I used a mirror (if I am doing a full bodypaint, I ask someone for help, mostly for my back).
I am using Kryolan bodypaint for all my costumes :)

ok thanks :)  I"m looking to set up a shoot some time in the near future and am trying to get as much on body paint as I can.  How long does it usually take to apply?

Depends how complicated the bodypaint is (patterns, etc.)
For my nightelf I usually need 30 min with help - that means two people painting at the same time, and only one color. For my tiger that's a lot more, because it includes different colors and stripes.
