Child of the Stars by YurikoCosplay Child of the Stars by YurikoCosplay
EDIT: Thanks for the Photographer David Ecsi, who fixed the lights around the lantern! I lthink it looks much better now! :)

"The night elves (or kaldorei, which means "Children of the Stars" in their native tongue of Darnassian) are among the oldest known races in Azeroth, a reclusive and mystical race born during the waking of the world."

This is my second version of this costume, added some details, leaves to the hair, a necklace, more feathers, etc. The first version looks kinda boring now, compared to the new photos ^^;
Check out the full size version! :)

I think we could finally create the athmosphere and the "feeling" I imagined for this character <3

EDIT: because many people asked me about my purple skin color, I just tought it would be easier to explain it here. It's not photoshop, it's bodypaint (like my Tiger cosplay in my gallery). I am using Kryolan creme type bodypaint, because it's cheaper than liquid ones (and I don't have an airbrush either). Getting ready takes 2-3 hours, depending on the character, and the amount of skin I want to color (usually 2 hours for the nightelf, 3 hours for the tiger).

Perfection at it's finest.  You are absolutely beautiful.  :)  Night Elves have been very close to my heart for the last 10 years, and you pull one off flawlessly.  Well done!  :)

I think you used a regular bra for the chest armour, right? And then added on, though. But I was wondering. um, could you direct me to anywhere that would help with shoulder armour, because I have so much trouble with it.

This is one of my wip photos from the shoulder armor: [link]
I cut the base out of craft foam, added details with papermaché powder, then covered it with the same fabric as the base cloths, and added more details at the end.
I hope that helps a bit. :)
